Janice has more than 20 years of experience performing an array of sonography modalities including abdomen, gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, sonomammography, neonatal neurosonography, MSK, nerve and vascular ultrasound.
Janice is a clinician, educator and author. Presently Janice is a Clinical Education Specialist with SonoSite, Inc. Her vast experience, including international speaking, makes her uniquely qualified to teach and prepare others in the field of OB/GYN. She provides an informative, comprehensive, enthusiastic and enjoyable review of the material required to pass the registry. Clinical pearls and pitfalls and helpful hints that enhance patient care and diagnosis are also intertwined into the course.
Janice has a Health Science degree from Queens University, Canada as well as a sonography diploma from Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario and a radiography diploma from the Toronto Institute of Medical Technology (The Michener Institute).
Janice is the author of two ultrasound review books in conjunction with Dr. Franklin Goldberg: Ultrasound Review of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Ultrasound Review of the Abdomen, Male Pelvis and Small Parts. Published by Lippincott Press, these books have sold out of their 1st edition release due to their wide acceptance and recognition both in the US and in Europe with multiple language translations. Janice has recently written Essentials of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Obstetrics & Gynecology Exam Simulation CD-ROM published by Pegasus Lectures, Inc. |
